What Phuket LeisureVery few worldwide locations can boast such an abundance of stunning blue flag beaches. The island of Phuket is surrounded by golden sandy beaches and crystal clear waters and is considered to be the jewel of Asia. No matter what you are looking for, Phuket has it in abundance from the intense pace of Patong to the solitude of the magnificent beach in Nai Harn bay. Phuket allows you a remarkable combination of sun and exploration in what is a tropical paradise. Despite the countless activities and sights available the main attraction for the sun worshipers amongst you will be the endless beaches. Here is a quick review of some of the more popular beaches on the tourist trail. Patong BeachPatong is a world renowned party place. Since the devastating effects of the tsunami the beach front has been almost completely rebuilt. There are countless and varied nightspots, lounge bars, restaurants, hotels and beer bars. Karon beachKaron beach is an incredibly long stretch of stunning white sand, it is quieter than Patong but it still offers a vibrant environment. Karon beach is an excellent place to relax and try some water sports, with a wide range available from scuba diving to para-sailing. Karon beach is very spread out and rarely feels crowded. Nai Harn beachNai Harn bay is one of the hidden treasures of Phuket. The beach at Nai Harn is unlike many of the other beaches in Phuket as it is almost completely undeveloped allowing for a completely unspoilt stretch of coast line. The only structural feature of the Nai Harn bay is the 5* 'Royal Puce Yacht Club', the hotel is nestled in the hill side with magnificent views of the beach and ocean.
