Phuket is a tropical place, because of which has 2 seasons a wet season (Winter) and a dry season (Summer). There is a common misconception that the weather during the wet season is cold, however, the temperature during the wet season is not actually that different to the dry season, there are occasional patches of heavy rain however. Many think that the rainy season is the best time to visit the shores of Phuket, the temperature is still good and can even be a lot more tranquil and relaxing as there are not so many tourists around and the hotels and flights are cheaper at thie time of the year.

Phuket High Season Weather

High season is between the months of November and March, at this time is not quite so humid with temperatures ranging between 24ºC and 32ºC (75ºF and 89ºF).

Phuket Low Season Weather

Low Season is between the months of May and October. Generally after a short period of heavy rain, generally, the remainder of the day will be sunny. There can be strong currents in the ocean at this time however, so it is imporatant to speak to your hotel about the right time for diving.
